Drew and Hugh travelled from Ireland to get married at Quinta da Bichinha, in Alenquer, about 45 minutes from Lisbon. They gathered the people they love most for a day full of laughter.
Planned with care, lived with ease
Before the wedding, we had several calls to go through their plans and answer every question. When couples are planning from another country, those calls matter. By the time the day came, nothing felt like a surprise.
The morning started with the two of them getting ready. Then the guests arrived, the ceremony began, and everything moved fast, the way it always does. Faces, hugs, happy tears, all within a few minutes.
Golden hour, dinner and dancing
Later, we stepped away for a short session together, just the two of them. Then came dinner at the long table and the dancing that followed. And of course, I wasn't going to let the golden hour pass without a few photos in that warm countryside light.
Their wedding was fun, relaxed and full of warmth. It looked exactly like who they are.
